Results and Team News

Senior Hurling

Hard luck to our hurling team who were second best in their junior championship game against a good Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon team in Tir Conaill Park on Friday evening.

As always the Four Masters lads never gave up and battled hard right to the end.

A few missed scoring chances by the home side would have put a better complexion on the scoreboard, but Aodh Ruadh were much the stronger team on the night.

Final Score: Four Masters: 0-09 Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon: 5:22

Under 13 Boys Football

Best of luck to our Under 13 Division 1 team who play in the county final against Ardara on Wednesday evening 15/09/21 at 18:15 in Glenties.

Under 17 Boys Football

Well done to our U17 boys who kept their good run of form up this evening with a great 2.16 to 1.06 victory away to Milford. Another good team performance with

Daniel mc Intyre scorer in chief with 1.06 and Caolan Sweeney chipping in with 5 points from wing back.

However it was the team as a whole that impressed with their work rate and strength overpowering their opponents to secure the win.

Next up is a home game against Gweedore on Monday evening at 6.30 PM.

Under 12 Girls Football

Our U12 girls travelled to Ballyshannon on Wednesday evening with 23 players to play our penultimate league game of the season. As Aodh Ruadh had more than 20 players also, we agreed to play an 11 a side and a 10 a side game on separate pitches at the same time.

This was the girls toughest challenge to date and they all did us proud.

Both teams gave everything they had on the pitch. It was great to get all the girls plenty of game time, so thanks to Ballyshannon for providing 2 very sporting games.

Next up is Glenfin at home on Sunday 26th September, where the girls will try to preserve their unbeaten record.

Minor Girls Football

Our minor girls played their last away game on Thursday to Milford, and came away with a comfortable victory, Our girls dominated the game from start to finish, This was a very good performance from the girls. Winning on a scoreline of 4-16 to – 3-09 . Well done Girls.

Senior Ladies Football

Our senior ladies played their second game of the championship against Urris yesterday in what was an enthralling intense game from start to finish. Some outstanding displays of football from both sides. The game went to extra time, with no side deserving to loose. However Urris went home with the win. This team continues to improve despite the many challenges they have faced both off and on the pitch. Thanks to the Referree Sean Campbell, lines people/ umpires, score keeper, parks committee and all who came out to support this group of determined young women.
