Our U13 boys footballers continued the clubs fine run of results at underage with an extremely hard fought victory last night, Monday 30 September 2019, against Naomh Conaill to become Southern Board U13 Division 1 Champions.
Played in difficult weather conditions the lads made the most of a strong wind in the 1st half to lead at halftime on a score line of 2-5 to 0-3. Playing against the wind in the 2nd half the lads defended resolutely against a very strong Naomh Conaill challenge.
The lads dug deep and held out for the win on a scoreline of Four Masters 4-6 Naomh Conall 0-11. Despite the extremely poor playing conditions the entire squad showed great skill and determination to get the victory. After the match the cup was presented by SRB Chairman Pat Walsh to our captain Callum McCrea.
