Four Masters G.A.A. Club is based in the parishes of Townawilly and Killymard in Donegal Town, County Donegal. One of the oldest and most successful clubs in the county, Four Masters traces its origins back to 1905 when it was first founded as the Ball Dearg Hurling and Football Club.
Today, Four Masters is a progressive and community-focused club with 26 teams competing across Hurling, Gaelic Football, and Ladies Football. The club is proud to provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities while promoting the values of the GAA within the local community.
Our catchment area includes five primary schools, Scoil an Linbh Íosa Killymard, St Francis National School Barnesmore, Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala, Glebe National School, and Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí, as well as one secondary school, the Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town. Strong links with local schools play a vital role in supporting youth development and encouraging participation in Gaelic games.
Over many years the club has worked hard to develop and improve its facilities, ensuring members and young players have access to high-quality pitches, training areas, and club resources. Four Masters continues to invest in the future of the club, focusing on player development, community involvement, and the ongoing enhancement of its facilities.
