The final will be held on the 4th of August in the Tyrone Centre of Excellence in Garvaghy at 8pm. Best of luck in the final lads!
Under 13 Boys Football
Well done to our Boys U13 Division 1 and Division 2 teams who won their league games on Monday evening against Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon and Na Rossa respectively.
Under 12 Girls Football
Four Masters U12 ladies hosted their local neighbours and rivals St Nauls, in an entertaining match on the August Bank Holiday Sunday evening in Tir Conaill Park Donegal Town, on a lovely evening for football.
Four Masters settled into a rhythm early with Cora, Coleen, Nikita, Megan and Mia shoring up the defence really well, ably assisted by Leah in goals and preventing St Nauls from making too many in-roads.
Emily and Laura dominated in midfield and stamped their authority on the match, scoring and setting up chances for the forwards Ava, Chloe, Michaela and both Emma’s for scores, to open up a healthy half time lead for Four Masters, helped by a goal from Michaela.
Into the second half and the match followed a similar pattern, with the Four Masters girls standing up well to their St Nauls counterparts. Laura, Emily and Megan were doing trojan work in the middle third and this lead to a couple of more goals for Four Masters through Emma , Michaela and Laura. Both teams emptied the benches after the break and all the girls got a run out in a competitive fixture against our near neighbours St Nauls.
Under 16 Girls Football
Our U16 Girls suffered their first defeat of the season to a strong well Drilled Letterkenny Gaels. Our girls started very sluggish and quickly found themselves down by 11 points at the first water break, but from then on they matched our visitors for scores, this was a very tough enjoyable game played by 2 very good teams, whereas our visitors got 3 fortuitious goals and got the breaks our girls luck just ran out. But the girls battled to the end, and the game finished on a scoreline of Four Masters 1-12 to Letterkenny Gaels 3-13 , Hard Luck Girls, next up for the girls next week is a short trip to St Nauls,
