Results and Team News

Well done to senior hurlers on Wednesday night as they got their 2nd win of the South Ulster League campaign in a hard fought encounter against Erne Gaels in Tir Conaill Park.

Minor Boys Football
Hard luck to our U17’s who went down to a 0-10 to 2-08 defeat to Mac Cumhaills in Tir Conaill Park. The boys led 6pts to 5pts at half time in a very competitive half of football. A good start to the second half saw the boys extend their lead, create and squander some great goal chances before two quick fire goals before the second water break set Mac Cumhaills up for victory. The team never gave up and can be proud of their efforts. The boys play away to Termon next Friday at 7.30pm.
Under 13 Boys Football
Well done to our U13 Division 1 and Division 2 teams who both won their games on Monday evening against Naomh Conaill and Naomh Ultan respectively.
Senior Football
Our senior football team kickstarted their Division 3 league campaign with a good home win against Burt at Tir Conaill Park. The home side were looking for an improved performance from last week’s outing against Fanad and ran out deserving winners today in a game they led from start to finish. Four Masters won some good primary possession around the middle of the park and worked some good scoring opportunities throughout the game. Both sides conceded a lot of turnovers and Four Masters will have identified a number of work-on’s for next weekend’s fixture away to Malin. Burt never gave up and tacked on some scores during the final quarter to close the gap. However Four Masters did enough to close out the game on a winning scoreline of 0-11 to 0-06

Under 7 and Under 9 Hurling
Well done to our young hurlers who played Aodh Ruadh this morning in what was their first outing of the season. 35 players from our U7 and U9 groups played out a number of games with their opponents and all did brilliantly. The future of hurling in Four Masters is certainly bright .
Condolences
Four Masters GAA club would like to extend our sincere condolences to John, Kevin and all the Sinclair family on the sad passing of Stephen.
