Results and Team News
Senior Hurling
A great game of hurling took place in Healy Park in Omagh on Wednesday evening where Four Masters lost out to a strong Omagh St Enda’s side, their first defeat of the South Ulster League campaign.
It was a slow start for the visitors, as Omagh scored 1-02 in the opening minutes, but the boys kept their heads up and fought hard. Omagh extended their lead to 8 points by half time, and were unlucky not to be further in front having hit a couple of bad wides. Half-time score 1-08 to 0-03.
After half time, Evan Towey struck a goal to get Four Masters back in to the game, with just 6 points between the sides at this stage. The boys showed outstanding courage as they fought for every ball and defended very well when Omagh kept coming forward.
St. Enda’s got a second goal in the last quarter which sent them on their way to victory. Shane Patton also denied them a third goal with a fine stop.
It wasn’t a perfect performance from Four Masters, but they showed fantastic spirit and character on the night to keep battling until the very end against a strong Omagh team. They now look forward to a home game against Letterkenny Gaels in Tir Conaill Park next week, all support is much appreciated!
Final Score: 2-12 to 1-06

Under 13 Boys Football
Well done to our U13 Division 1 and Division 2 teams who both won their games on Monday evening against Aodh Rua Ballyshannon and Bundoran respectively.
Senior Football
Hard luck to out senior team who lost narrowly away to Malin in a very competitive Division 3 league game on Saturday evening. The outcome of this game was in the balance right up until the end. Fielding a side with a lot of very good young footballers, Four Masters played with lots of courage and determination and indeed had Malin on the back foot in the closing stages of this game. But unfortunately they couldn’t find the scores to get them over the line. Nevertheless our lads will take a lot of encouragement from this performance into their next game.
Team and scorers:

Under 17 Football
Hard luck to our U17 boys who went down to a strong Termon team last night in Burn Road on a scoreline of 3.7 to 7 points.
It was all about the strong wind in this game with Termon electing to play with it in the first half.
A very well drilled team with a strong defensive ethos Termon dominated the early exchanges and were 1.5 to a point up at the first water break. Our point coming from Ethan Potter.
The second fifteen was much the same with our lads finding it hard going against the wind and a defensive unit that was hard to breach. Termon added two points and two more goals , one a penalty with the last kick of the first half.
Half time
Termon 3.7 Four Masters 0.1
The second half was a much different affair.
Our boys settled themselves and played much more on the front foot tagging on a couple of points early on from Ethan Potter again and Conor Reid and really dominating the game from there on.
John Bell and Ross o Keeney came into it much more around the middle with David Monaghan, Conor Gillespie and Leo Mc Gowan from half back driving the boys on . The boys did get a couple of more points in this period through Ross o Keeney and Daniel Quinn however the goals they needed never materialised with Termon defending in great numbers. Conor Meehan came off the bench to score a great point off the left but that was the last score of the game.
The boys and management will take great heart from their second half performance holding Termon scoreless and ultimately this game will give them valuable experience playing at this level.
Final score
Termon 3.7 Four Masters 0.7
Next game at home to Naomh Conaill next Friday @7.30 p.m.
Junior Football
Well done to our junior team who kicked off their season with a home win against Naomh Conaill on Friday evening.
It was the proverbial game of two halves, with Four Masters going into the half time break with a big lead, having dominated the play and the scoring in the first half.
However Naomh Conaill came storming back in the second half and deep into injury time at the end of the game had closed the gap to 2 points. But the home side held on to close out the game on a winning scoreline of 2-13 to 2-11
