U17 Boys – Ulster Minor Champions Return To Primary School!

The newly crowned Ulster Minor Champions Four Masters on tour… I had the pleasure of taking a few Pics as Joint Manager Odie Mc Bride and some of his Minor winning squad returned to their former National Schools to show off the 4 Cups they won in what was a history making season for our Minors. Great excitment was on show as the lads met their proud former Teachers, younger Brothers, Sisters and cousins. We had proud Mothers and Aunties, current players in Caolon Loughney, Oisin Reid and Sean Mc Kiernan, Killybegs and county legend Hugh Mcfadden, Colman Mc Cool a 2 time County medal winner himself and a Gweedore legend and Four Masters ladies legend Emer Carr who all spoke proudly off and to the lads. Past triumps were remembered and Cormac Carr got the biggest cheer of the day. We had a fantastic Q & A from the students and our lads showed themselves to be fantastic role models to the next generation. It was a day of great smiles and joy and the respect the lads recieved from the youngest classes right up was fantastic to see. Thanks to all the Schools for hosting and to our lads who continue to shine off the pitch as well as on it.
